Horticulture is a creative industry and is aimed at those who enjoy working hands on outdoors. This apprenticeship will give you the skills and knowledge to develop your career as a; Grounds keeper, landscape designer, tree surgeon, crop grower, conservationist in national parks or garden center manager. Study one day per week while gaining on the job training and quality work experience.

– Sports turf and green keeping
Candidates are assessed in the workplace by qualified assessors and have lessons on specific skills in College. Candidates produce a portfolio of evidence to show knowledge and understanding of the units. Evidence can take a variety of formats including witness statements, observation reports, product evidence and case studies.
The apprenticeship will take approximately 20 months to complete.
