These apprenticeships are suitable for anyone working, volunteering or on practical placement in a health and social care environment as an apprentice. You will need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.
Assessment methods include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or tasks. Apprentices will develop the knowledge and skills needed when working with adults in health and social care environments. They cover a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.

These apprenticeships take between 13-18 months to complete, depending on the level.
On completion of the Level 2 qualification, you can progress onto the Health and Social Care Level 3 course. Level 3 learners can progress onto the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and young People’s Services.

Apprentices will study the Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, which is delivered entirely in the workplace.
